If your live in the UK, you will be very aware of the famous baby brand Mothercare!
They have unfortunately closed down this January 2020.
So with 1 major high street retailer closed, and with many more in the line. What are the next big baby products online shopping sites in the UK?
I’ve compiled a list of some online shopping sites (some have stores too) where you can get all your baby product needs from.
I’ve had 2 kids myself, so all these listed below are where I’ve shopped personally. The products are off good quality and pricing is affordable.
The first 3 are my favourite sites you can get all your baby needs from. Baby clothes, furniture, strollers, etc basically the whole lot.

Mamas and Papas
YES! you guessed right. I feel since the closing of Mothercare, Mamas and Papas has taken the spotlight by all the new mums and expecting mums.
Not saying they weren’t famous before, but since the closing of Mothercare in my region it sure is the next best thing!
They have over 35 years of experience with parenting buys. What better place to go to then.
I love their website. Its so warm and motherly you can say.

Free personal shopping experience
Mamas and papas also offer a free shopping experience for expecting mums. They will show you around at one of their stores guiding you with things you will need for your little bundle of joy.
This is great for first time mums. You will get to see what things are required for your new baby and how you can style them in your home.
My expecting friends have personally had this experience with mamas and papas and they loved it!
The quality of this store is amazing! I personally love it. Durable cots, moses baskets, not something cheap out the back yard! The prices are not crazy high either. They have items to suit a variety of budgets.

Kiddies Kingdom
Another store worth taking your time out for is Kiddies kingdom.
They like Mamas and Papas stock EVEYTHING except baby clothes.
You can find all your nursery needs, car seats, strollers, toys etc all here.
They have a showroom based in Dewsbury UK which you can visit also.
One thing I love about Kiddies Kingdom is their price! They are fraction of the price you’ll pay at other high end stores.
The cot beds are very affordable and sturdy too.
Being a mum of 2, I think the most money I spent was on the cot bed. Around £800 it was but I got it on the sale for £600 from Mothercare. Seeing a very similar design on Kiddies Kingdom at almost 1/2 the full price definetly grabbed my attention.
The staff are super friendly and are willing to give you a shop around if you visit them in store.
With over 3000 five stars for their services, this store is definetly not to miss, when your next shopping for your little bundle of joy.
John Lewis and partners
Another famous site I shopped for my first born. Is It me or are John Lewis items cute or what!
They stock exclusive items which you wont find elsewhere and if you do, it’s a rare one!
John Lewis caters for all baby products including clothes.
The price is very reasonable. I managed to grab some gorgeous baby girl clothes for my daughter at the start of 2020 sale. From £15 to £4 frocks, I couldn’t go wrong. Love the material too.
If you want to gift a present to a newborn, I would recommend John Lewis. The gifts are so pretty and look luxury, at such affordable prices.
High End Baby clothing Site
If you wish to dress your child in Authentic Designer clothing then Childsplay Clothing are the one.
Childsplay Clothing specialise in clothing from Luxury high end brands such as Gucci, Emporio Armani, Fendi, Boss, Burbury, Moschino and so many more High end fashion companies.
The clothes are authentic and so are the prices. You wont be getting George.com prices here my lovelies, but the clothing is gorgeous and worth it’s pennies.

There are some pretty cool baby/little kid specialty shops in the UK it seems. We have some good retailers in Canada but not that much of a selection in specialty stores with good online shopping.
